“I have a dream…”
Martin Luther King’s inspiring words, spoken on the 28th of August 1963 at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. striving for equal rights for all citizens in the United States of America – bearing witness to the power of hope and imagination!
In 2024 the Golden Ratio – de Gulden Snede has been designed and launched as platform for developing the QfWf-project “Wereldburgerschap van de straat” – funded by the Fonds voor Cultuurparticipatie.
In 2025 the programme has been enriched with the theme “Practices of World Citizens” in which world citizens are shining in the way they practice world citizenship as inspiring examples for an underground connection like the roots of trees, from which a cosmopolitan culture of inclusion and openness is growing.
The 2026-theme is “Inter-culturele rituals for world citizenship“, for connecting people and their cultures based on human values for the good life in communities and societies as a plural and peaceful world.
